The Triduum celebrates the Salesian Family of Don Bosco


The Salesian Family is already anxiously waiting for the celebration of their founding father, S. John Bosco, who as usual is celebrated worldwide on January 31.

At Piazza Armerina waiting for this festival is an expression of faith and love that all the Salesians have for the saint of young people, a reference point for sent a method of education always present.
School Salesian spirituality has been and continues to be guided by the smile on accommodating especially towards the last and the voiceless. At Piazza Armerina
the feast of St. John Bosco is celebrated in the church of S. Giovanni Evangelista, and this year will be animated by Fr Philip Stagnation, Don Marco Mazzeo, Sr. Maria Pisciotta and Sunday 30th January at 17:30 preside at the solemn celebration of Bishop Michele Pennisi INSPIRED by the SS. Crucified.
The presence of Don Bosco in our city is alive and active with two speakers with great dedication and work with young people, especially in this time of severe crisis of identity and belonging.
The 2011 gift of the Rector Major of the Salesians, Don Pascual Chaves, is: "Come and see."
Following this message are all invited to experience the spirit of St. John Bosco, a teacher and guide for over a century and a half for intense youth ministry.
